Structuring Your Warehouse for Speed

A warehouse is not just a single room; it is a complex grid. If you simply tell the system "The product is in the Main Warehouse," your pickers will waste hours wandering around looking for it. You must map your warehouse down to the specific Bin.

Tutorial: Creating a Bin Hierarchy

1. Navigate to Warehouse > Bins in the admin dashboard.
2. Select the parent Warehouse location.
3. First, create a Zone (e.g., "Zone A - Cold Storage").
4. Within that Zone, create an Aisle (e.g., "Aisle 1").
5. Within that Aisle, create a Rack (e.g., "Rack A").
6. Finally, within that Rack, generate the actual Bins (e.g., "Bin 1", "Bin 2", "Bin 3").

Now, when you receive inventory on a Purchase Order, the system will force the warehouse worker to scan or select the exact Bin they are placing the goods into.
